VOLUNTEER
Enough talk. Let's be present
and make a difference.

Communities in Schools provides essential support and resources to students in need, helping them succeed in school and beyond. And we need YOU!
Communities in Schools is searching for compassionate volunteers in Rowan County to join our mission and help students discover their limitless potential. Imagine the impact you can make. By sharing your time, wisdom, and kindness, you'll help students unlock their talents, build their confidence, and overcome obstacles.
Registration is open: Register to become a CIS Volunteer for the 2024-2025 school year!
All volunteers must register and complete mandatory training before the school year starts. This applies to all programs, including Rowan Literacy Council.
