For CIS Rowan Volunteers
Register to serve as a CIS Volunteer below. ALL volunteers in our program, including those who are volunteering to serve through the Rowan Literacy Council programs, are required to register below and complete mandatory training prior to the beginning of school. All of those registering below will receive notices about upcoming volunteer training and other opportunities to work with our students as they become available.

PLEASE NOTE: All CIS volunteers must agree to a mandatory Rowan-Salisbury Schools background check in order to participate in any of our programs. There may be additional requirements imposed by Rowan-Salisbury Schools. If you haven't done so already, please complete the inquiry form below. This link also allows you to check the current status of your background approval with the School District.
Rowan-Salisbury Schools volunteer background checks are done at no cost to the volunteer.
